Saxon is the 3rd son of Anil and Petra Fireborn. As a late hatchling he has grown up with stories of his brothers heroic deeds and they often send back news of their daring do.
As a youngling Saxon suffered several illnesses and was considered too fragile to ever be an adventurer but through grim determination he has managed to overcome these initial problems. He is however left with a desire to constantly prove himself.
At 15 he completed the rites of passage and became a protector for the Fireborn clan and began his training in the ways of the Paladin. Trained by his uncle Vestas he showed immediate potential often sullied by high emotion.
At 21 news from his brothers stopped and Saxon has decided to venture out to seek news of them and help if they are in peril.
Saxon is guided by a strong sense of honour and punishes those he sees as not living up to those standards. He can be over critical and points out failings in others. Lacking an inner voice or perhaps the control not to voice his opinion Saxon can get quickly into heated discussions.
Saxon is deeply loyal and when he pledges his help to an individual or group he does all in his power to carry through on his promises.
Saxon is deeply proud of what his race once was and sees hope for restoration.
He has a particular dislike of Tieflings given the part they played in the long ago destruction of the Dragonborn empire.
